Added November 23, 2017★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆A woman organizing a hens night for a friend tried to book a booth, after mentioning that a couple of the gals were pregnant she received an email reply from the owner, Tina Barrett, asking them to look elsewhere because: "You realise Laundry is a Hip Hop and rap club."
Instead of graciously ensuring that they are made to feel welcome, this owner sought to exclude those who didn't fit the "Hip Hop/Rap" image of her bar. Called upon it, the establishment chose not to apologise but instead feigned pretense that they were just "looking out for your pregnant friends". Oh really? Last I checked, treating grown women like children is insulting. Do yourselves a favour and spend your money on an establishment that doesn't engage in exclusionary bias and gendered discrimination.
